Tokyo Mater

Tokyo Mater is a 2008 Pixar computer animated short film directed by John Lasseter and codirected by Rob Gibbs and Victor Navone. It is the fourth short in the Cars Toons Maters Tall Tales series. The short features characters from the Cars films and takes place after the events of Cars. It was first seen with the theatrical release of Walt Disney Animation Studios Bolt, starting in the films fourth week in theaters and then had its television premiere on Disney XD on March 12, 2010. It was included in the home release of the Cars Toons Maters Tall Tales compilation.

On November 2, 2010, Tokyo Mater was released on DVD and BluRay as part of the Cars Toons Maters Tall Tales compilation disc set.
